Dark Eldar (Something a little different) - 1000 points
« on: August 02, 2012, 01:24:36 AM »
Hi 3++, I have been a long time reader and really love this site.

I'm a DE player who likes to experiment. I played these games a few weeks ago, and am currently trying to find a way to make this list work at 1500points (there are more battle reps that I will be putting up soon). Now I know this list is going to get torn to pieces on here (partly why I'm posting it), as it's not really competitive. I'm really curious what insights people will have. Thanks!

Great reports. Very clear presentations of the game.

How would your list fare against GK/Necron shooty list or max devastator/long fang lists let alone IG tank lists?

WWP does create cover? Isn't it 2,5" flat circle? Not the old lightning dome.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them.

Funny you should ask that I had a game against long fang spam the other day:

At the moment I haven't really worked out what I want to do with this list and how to scale it efficiently to 1500 points. Right now I'm just trying to find out what works, and what compliments the reavers.

The lightning dome was released at the same time as 5th ed DE so in our club we treat it as blocking line of sight (as it's an official GW model) I know in tournaments this is not always the case.

How did you build those awesome diagrams? (This is me assuming you *didn't* do it all manually and used some kind of tool designed for the purpose)

Its awesome seeing someone using the Dark Eldar as that kind of super highly mobile force. :)

More reports if anyone is interested (links at the top). I'd really appreciate criticise of my play and that of my opponents and/or list suggestions. Thanks.
