Allies of Convenience deny my objectives?
« on: August 21, 2012, 02:22:31 AM »
Recently somebody told me that AoCs can not be used to hold my objectives.
The arguement was that they deny any objectives they are on because they are considered "enemy units that can not be attacked".

What's your opinion on this?

i'm pretty sure they do in fact score. The thing is, they will however stop your main army's troops from scoring, as then they are indeed, as your friend said, enemy units that contest. They can however perfectly score on their own, as long as no other units are nearby.

Desperate Allies are defined as being exactly like Allies of Convenience except that they are never Scoring or Denial Units. I really don't see any way to interpret that other than AoCs being Scoring.
